Felted toys by Nadezhda Micheyeva

Russian self-taught artist Nadezhda Micheyeva lives in St. Petersburg. She is a dentist by education and profession. Felting miniature toys is just her hobby. Her talented works are expressive and touching. Adorable felted toys by Nadezhda Micheyeva leave no one indifferent. It all started in a childhood, when Nadezhda drew a lot and constantly invented something. Mom took her to the art studio, but to painting she prefered molding plaster figures. She enjoyed making some primitive dolls, small animals and sewing clothes for them.

She hasn’t become an artist, graduated from the Medical University, received a degree in dentistry. Now she treats children’s teeth. She again became interested in art only years later, after the birth of a child. She once again began doing things she loved. When the child was born, she wanted to diversify quite monotonous life. Tried to knit and embroider, and something else … Inspired by photographs from the internet, saw pictures of toys made from wool. They struck her imagination.
