Parchment Craft, the art of piercing and embossing translucent parchment paper with special inexpensive tools to create delicate lace-like designs. The origin of this art dates back to the Middle Ages, in the cloisters of Spain. The Catholic monasteries of Europe were first to create paintings and on religious themes on parchment paper.
