Unique photo artist Jaap Vliegenthart creates things that nobody did. Jaap Vliegenthart is the talented photographer born in 1965 in the Netherlands. He graduated from the Royal School of Art in The Hague. Jaap Vliegenthart worked for several years as an assistant at the famous photographers. After the photographer acquired the necessary experience and the desire to create something personal became irresistible, he started his own career and soon became so famous that surpassed most of his teachers.
First of all, his art touches. It is not just pretty pictures with digital manipulation and retouching. His work is always deeply emotional, experiential or covers such aspects of human life, which are familiar and close to people. Jaap Vliegenthart has participated in various exhibitions of photo art. His photographs have got the highest awards and prizes. Featured here project ‘And Then it Hit Me’ (based on events from his own life) has earned him both a bronze and silver PANL award.
