Back in the 1950s, the Swiss psychotherapist Max Lyuscher, the author of the famous color test, proved the influence of color on certain functions of the human body. Thus, a red color raises blood pressure, and the same blue color, on the contrary, soothes. Undoubtedly, wise approach to color in architecture and design have many possibilities. And realizing the importance of using color in everyday life, many creative people, including artists, architects and designers work in this direction.
Among the brightest and most talented designers, in particular, is the Frenchwoman Emmanuelle Moureaux, who creates unusually beautiful ideas of color application in interior and architecture. In her creative collection are several art installations, and the most notable – “Forest of Numbers”, “Christmas Forest in 100 colors”, “Color Of Time”, and “1000 colors recipe”.
Born in 1971, France, Emmanuelle Moureaux is living in Tokyo since 1996.

Papercut art by Parth Kothekar
According to the talented Indian artist Parth Kothekar, silhouette has always fascinated him. He has been doing paper cut artworks for several years, and has achieved great skill in this delicate art. Elegant lace work of the Indian artist – cutting out of paper looks more like illustrations and sketches traced with a pencil. The technique in which Parth Kothekar works is traditional – his intricate Papercut artworks are all sketched and hand carved individually from a single sheet of paper using a pencil and papercut knife. It is known, that the artist lives and works in the city of Ahmedabad, India. Besides, he sells his papercut artworks on Etsy.

Talented artist from the city of Bryansk, Russia works in her author’s “batik paper” technique. She is the owner of her Art studio called “Warm space”. Unfortunately, there isn’t much information about the artist. However, that’s what she writes about herself: “I love living textured paper, especially natural handmade paper. I like to listen to it, it tells about itself, reveals its secrets, and allows us to find a new image. Drawing can be called an attempt to revive the paper, each sheet is unique, each of them – has its own story … I like to draw for kids, small children with their little world and warm atmosphere of faith in a miracle”.

Paper artist from Poland Bozka Rydlewska creates unique style Pop-up illustrations. Fantastic multi-layered illustration of paper are kingdom of plants and animals with a lot of small details and characters. The works show incredible precision of execution and spatial depth. Meanwhile, to paper art Bozka came quite by accident. For a long time she was engaged in the creation of virtual projects. And in the end, felt tired of computer graphics. She wanted to create something extraordinary with her own hands. Thus appeared the first paper illustration. To create a single illustration it takes her three – four weeks.

Meanwhile, the origin of this art dates back to the Middle Ages, to the cloisters of Spain. Among other parchment paper works were skillfully made bookmarks for the Holy Scriptures. Princesses, magicians and musicians – all this beauty Brazilian artist Juliana Bolliniy creates with dedication and patience.
Born and studied Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, Juliana Bollini later moved to Sao Paulo. Fascinated by paper and scraps, she began working with modeling and clippings on paper in the 1990s, finding her own style in the use of mixed techniques. In 2012, she participated in the International art show Internazionale dell’Illustrazione per l’Infanzia of Sarmede, Italy. Noteworthy, her illustrated book was among the 30 best children’s books of Grow magazine.
Addams Family Paper illustrations by Glam
Born in 1985, Lisbon based artist Glam (Catarina Monteiro) created these illustrations for a group exhibition of movie posters. In fact, the artwork of well-known creatures hidden in the dark – based on the movie “The Addams Family”. Catarina Monteiro has a degree in Communication Design from the School of Fine Arts University of Lisbon. Meanwhile, the young artist Glam has 15 years of experience in the world of street art, starting her creativity at the age of 15. She is a permanent participant of all street art festivals. Among her artworks, in particular, are several works, including “Blue Wall” – Psychiatric Hospital in the center of Lisbon (Julio de Matos Hospital). Besides, Seixal wall graffiti in 2013; Wall store Montana and others. In addition to the graffiti, Glam works in the field of paper installations – illustration and paper sculpture. Her name is known in several European cities: London, Rome, and Barcelona.
