Glass artist Lyubov Savelieva
Born in 1940 in Moscow, Lyubov Savelieva graduated from Moscow Higher School of Industrial Art (Stroganovskoe) in 1966. She began participating in regional, national, All-Union, solo and group international exhibitions in 1967. Depicted in a casually-naive manner, her flying images and fantasy stories are full of creative energy. Innovative combination of glass and copper in the works of Honored Artist of Russia distinguishes her from other glass artists.
In 1970 she became a member of the Union of Artists. Since 1969 she has taught artistic ceramics and glass art at University, and became a Professor. Also, she became a Member of the International Association of Art Glass in 1988. in 1990 she got International Award “Artist of the Year” after several exhibitions in the USA. The same year Lyubov Savelieva became the elected member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Born in 1959, Goncharov graduated from Sverdlovsk Institute of Architecture in 1984. He currently lives and works in Siberian environmental settlement “Dwelling of Dawn” Krasnoyarsk Krai (foothills of Sayan).
Igor Goncharov founded an art gallery in Chelyabinsk, aiming to bring together the best works of contemporary artists. He publishes catalog “E.RA” (Epoch of Dawn) by contemporary Russian artists, photographers, graphic artists.
In February 1997, in New York Igor participated in the staging of Jean Cocteau’s “The Human Voice”, where with actress Elena Antonenko and musician Sergey Letov, in a creative duo, they performed on stage the symbiosis of music, painting and acting, which by virtue of their originality became event in the cultural life of the Russian diaspora.

Among the local people (Khakases) there is a legend that Salbyksky mound – the handiwork of giants. Blonde people of tremendous growth possessed supernatural powers. According to Sergey Karlov, Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt and Antonio Gaudi inspire him. Noteworthy, Karlov is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
