Dutch painter Arnoldus Bloemers (Amsterdam, 1792 – The Hague, 1844) painted still life with flowers, which he bred mainly himself. His painting technique was experienced as refined and evaluated as fully true to nature. The painter focused in particular on landscapes, flowers, fruit and dead animals. His instructor was Antonie Piera, but he often imitated the Dutch painters, such as Jan van Huijsum (April 15, 1682, Amsterdam – February 8, 1749, Amsterdam), and Jan van Os (23 February 1744 – 7 February 1808).
