Interestingly, painting by American artist Chris LaPorte resembles old photograph. According to Michigan based artist Chris LaPorte, he has been drawing for more than 18 years, and in total, has drawn 85,000 people!
Chris graduated from Aquinas College, La Coste Ecole de Beaux Arts, and the New York Academy of Art.
Meanwhile, for this 13×26 foot hyperrealistic pencil drawing called “City Band” he got the Art Prize 2012 at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In particular, Mr LaPorte used an 80-year-old photo of his grandfather and his high school marching band to create a life-like version of it. It took him 1,200 hours and more than 100 pencils to draw this masterpiece. The talented artist has participated in many art exhibitions in Michigan and New York City.

Born in Budapest on 18 August 1949, Tulok is a Hungarian self-taught artist. In 1973 he graduated from Budapest Polytechnic University, with a Diploma of a mechanical engineer. After graduation Ferenc worked at various companies in the capital of Hungary.
However, his great talent and true calling for art have changed his life. Ferenc began to paint realistic still lifes in 1977, following the tradition of Flemish masters of XVI-XVII centuries. According to Ferenc Tulok, he prefers to paint on wood, or on copper plates because, in his opinion, this is how you can best show off their designs. Most works of a talented artist Ferenc Tulok are in private collections of Hungarian and foreign collections in the Netherlands, Australia, Greece, England, USA, Germany, Denmark.
