Instead of a traditional wedding cake, a Russian wedding couple got this creation. A Fairytale wedding tower with the prince and the beautiful princess, who live in a fabulous Far Far Away kingdom. And the details of this creation are just amazing! Sugar cockerel and flags on the domes and turrets, carved banister of sugar in passages between the towers, different in architecture and mural towers and domes. An exquisite detailed project! The author of the entire project, sketches, drawings, and patterns is a talented gingerbread artist Vera Chernevich. “I love Russian architecture, wooden towers, Russian fairy tales, so I created great this project with pleasure, in spite of the enormous amount of work on the development, baking, and decorating”. But the result, a gingerbread miracle, was worth it!

Gingerbread Terem – a family-run Gingerbread Shop by Master Vera Chernevich. Vera – a children’s doctor, but in addition to the main favorite profession she has always had a lot of different interests.

Preparing for her own wedding, Vera, for the first time, saw the painted gingerbread with the subtlest, painted filigree lace. She could not understand how such a miracle was made. So, when she was on maternity leave, Vera decided to try her hand at this art. Besides, she has always loved to cook. And her beloved husband suddenly helped test a recipe for gingerbread. He is originally from Archangel, and there for centuries baked delicious cakes for the holidays – Archangel gingerbread. These recipes are carefully kept within families and passed down from generation to generation. Thus, through trial and error, Vera found her version of the traditional gingerbread.

The dough is delicious, flavorful, cooked on baked sugar, the structure includes a higher grade flour, butter, sugar, eggs, spices (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom). The ready product is very tasty, crispy, something like cookies, and can be stored for six months.

Vera really likes the process of making the artful gingerbread dough making it a complex three-dimensional structure. A painting gives more opportunities for the realization of creative ideas. For a long time it has grown into a serious passion for the family business and now they have opened an official confectionery.
