He uses a reductive drilling technique to transform goose eggs into slithering tangles of string and various geometric or floral patterns. According to critics, his intricately carved goose eggs are similar to the works of skillful artists jewelers.

Miniature felted animals by Kiyoshi Mino
American self-taught artists of applied art Kiyoshi and his wife Emma create realistic miniature domestic and wild animals and life size sculptures of birds, entirely of felt. The artistic duo work on their farm – Lucky Duck Farm in Illinois.
According to Mino, the desire to live on the farm appeared after he served in the army, in Afghanistan. It was there Kiyoshi saw village people growing all that they need in their gardens, grazing and gathering the harvest. Thus, he realized that it gives them the opportunity to be independent of what is happening around. Besides, the opportunity to live without too much fuss and anxiety, and take care of the family and the farm. Also, enjoy the simple things, such as the sun, rain and cold. Kiyoshi wanted to live closer to the ground and spend more time with his family. Then he with his wife moved to a farm. Inspired by farm life, the creative duo Kiyoshi and Emma have created the beautiful gallery of realistic felted animals.

Porcelain miniatures by Marina
Moscow based artist Marina has created a gallery of collectible porcelain miniature sculptures. Made in vintage style, her dolls include series of miniatures. And most recent of them – Christmas figurines with a symbol of a new year – goat. Also, cute miniature ‘Cats’ dressed in the Rococo costumes, Angels of Seasons, Vintage children, and Carnival figurines. In addition, the characters of Comedia dell’Arte – Harlequin, Pierrot and Brighella. Of course, all porcelain miniature sculptures – handmade, painted, and richly decorated. According to the master, she uses various materials – from Swarovski beads, antique sequins and faux fur, to natural mohair, and different types of textile. In particular, lace, silk, viscose, organza, voile, and gold mesh. For the series of dolls she used tambour embroidery in gold thread.

Feather sculpture by Emily Valentine
According to the artist herself, Feathers are her paint. Noteworthy, Valentine has developed her own technique and style working in this art for more than twelve years. The gallery of her feather creatures include fabulous beasts – colorful bird-like dogs and cats with wings, lizards, and even aeroplanes.
Australian artist E. Valentine says: “I wish to stimulate the viewer with the uncomfortable nature of the feather, to question our callousness treatment of animals and birds, and ask how we sub-consciously classify animals – pet or pest, valued or worthless, beautiful or plain and why”. Emily got her Bachelor of Arts (Visual), graduating from Sydney College of the Arts majoring in Jewellery and Object design. Feather sculptures by Valentine – exhibited and awarded at numerous art exhibitions, mostly in Australia and New Zealand.

Boris Kolesnikov Jewelry art
Russian artist and jewelry designer, Kolesnikov creates one of a kind jewelry, art pieces – you have never seen before. Born in 1970 in the city of Yaroslavl, Kolesnikov graduated from the Krasnoselsk artistic metalworking School in 1993. A member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1998.
According to the artist, he made his first works during his studies at the Art School. With them he participated in the most prestigious at the time, “an exhibition of contemporary jewellery art” in Moscow (Museum of Applied Arts). Since then, he was a regular participant of Russian and international exhibitions of jewelry and enamel art.

Rare art of diatom arrangement by Klaus Kemp
British biologist Klaus Kemp is one of the last practitioners of the Victorian art of diatom arrangement. Kemp, in partnership with a filmographer Matthew Killip showcase the otherworldly beauty of microscopic organisms. Diatoms, one of the smallest creatures on Earth, are single cell algae that create complex glass shells around themselves. There are over 100,000 known species, found in oceans all over the world. They play a crucial role as one of the main food sources for marine organisms, including fish, molluscs and tunicates, such as sea squirts.
