Charles Vyse Porcelain Art includes porcelain characters based on ordinary people seen on London streets of the 18-19th centuries. Charles Vyse (1882-1971) was an English studio potter, known for producing colorful figurines of his contemporaries. He was a hereditary craftsman involved in the pottery industry – his Staffordshire family had traditionally produced fine porcelain goods. Charles started working at age fourteen as a modeller and designer, trained by Henry Doulton and Charles Noke. Henry Doulton saw his talent and sent him to the Hanley Art School. Charles Vyse won a scholarship to the Royal College of Art in London to study sculpture. In 1911 Charles Vyse became a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. The next year he studied at the Camberwell School of Art.

According to Jorge Maciel, he gives people the beauty and tenderness of the world by his colorful and positive painting. The amateur artist develops his talent being critical to his concepts, constantly improving the technique of painting. Each of his work manifests the artist’s great inspiration and harmony, his feelings and passion for art.
Also, Jorge Maciel has already had several exhibitions both in his country and abroad. In particular, in Sao Paulo Book Fair, Cultural Space Island Bella, Book Fair Foz do Iguaçu, Mogi /S.P Cultural Center, and in Arts Hall of Palace Casino in Pocos De Caldas in Brazil. Besides, in the Salon Arts Space in Italy, and Arts Hall Library of John XXXIII in Spain.

Leaf cutting art by Omid Asadi. Iranian artist Omid Asadi (Deh mirahmadi) currently living in Manchester, Cheshire, creates art from natural fallen leaves. These little masterpieces are delicately made with a very sharp knife and needle in cutting and carving technique. His artworks were exhibited in London, Milan, Manchester (2013 and 2014). On his website, he writes: “For me, art is a way to see the world, and everything around me, from a different angle. I started thinking about why no one notices how beautiful the leaves are. I wanted to give them a second life and turn them into works of art”. This was his first step to becoming an artist and his leaf cutting art led to a very successful way.

She can make anything using felt – chips, canned ravioli, ketchup, beer, magazines, and even the cash register. This awesome little shop is open for business until August 31, open every day from 10am – 7pm : 19 Wellington Row, London. The local passers-by and art lovers visit month-long installation ‘The Cornershop’ not only view the products, but buy them, and participate in workshops.
Noteworthy, British textiles artist Lucy Sparrow has embraced a role of an artist and a shop-keeper.
According to Sparrow, she had her first solo show “Imitation” in 2012 at Hoxton Gallery, London and attracted major paid commissions. In particular, Urban Take-Over at Hannah’s, and Seale-Hayne (Devon) in conjunction with the Victoria & Albert Museum’s touring Street Art exhibition. As the only textile artist on the urban street-art scene her work was featured alongside notable street artists such as Banksy.
