According to Krasnodar based artist Konstantin Kansky, his task as an artist is to do unusual and interesting things, to invent, and experiment. Painting for him is like adrenaline. “When I fuse colors, work with a palette knife, having little idea in advance what will come out and obey my instinct, experience, and strength of hand, then emotions and analytics always go along and help me stop in time”.
Kansky graduated from Krasnodar Art College in 1989. Since 1992 he has been participating in regional and national art exhibitions. Noteworthy, his works were purchased by the Krasnodar Art Museum and Sochi Art Institute named after Dmitry Zhilinsky. Also, his works are in private collections in Germany, Israel, USA, Canada, Turkey, Italy, Japan and other countries.
The artist states, that it is important for him to make the work interesting in the first place for himself. Coming up with unusual plots, experimenting with styles, shapes and colors, he counts on the interest of a grateful viewer, and the opinion of his colleagues. “Products can be very different. The main thing is harmony. If the viewer, having seen the painting, returns again and again, it means that harmony has taken place”.
