Italian painter Gianni Bellini
Italian figurative painter portraitist Gianni Bellini was born in Carmignano, Toscana, in 1965. Gianni began drawing at an early age, showing particular aptitude for painting. At age of fifteen he first took part in an art exhibition, and since then his works have been shown and awarded first prizes at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad – from Jacob Javits Center in New York to the National Museum of Stockholm. In fact Italian painter Gianni Bellini is a self-taught artist, whose talent brought him to the pinnacle of skill, making equal among professional artists. Among the most important artworks should be noted A Crucifixion (oil on canvas and wood) and a fresco in The Church of St. Peter Seano in the province of Prato, where he painted the lunette above the main entrance in 1992. In 2008 he made a series of calendars distributed throughout the Italy with more than 7,000 copies sold. The artworks of Gianni Bellini decorated numerous magazines (the last one – “The beauty in the art of Gianni Bellini”. GRASS magazine. February 2013) and publications in Italy and abroad. The artist is often invited to TV programs. Since 2012 Gianni Bellini started working with the Gallery Orler with which there have been several special televised presentations.
