American artist jeweler Ivy Solomon, aka Ivy Woodrose, began designing her own jewelry in 2002. Experimenting with silver, cold enamel and silver metal clay, she developed new and unusual technique which to this day provides huge scope for creativity. The product in particular, made of sterling silver with inlays of silver metal clay 925 (precious metal clay PMC). And the top covered with a layer of cold colored enamel. Besides, some decorations supplemented with fresh water pearls and 22k gold.
As a result, art works of jewelry brand “Ivy Woodrose” received recognition and awards at exhibitions in Michigan, Ohio and Illinois. The world-famous company Rio Grande, awarded Ivy awards for first place in the international competition of young designers, Saul Bell Design Competition, in 2004 and 2006. Her works have appeared in fashion magazines and catalogs. Also, one of the publications called “The Spirit of Summer” was an article that belonged to Mitsubishi Company.
