Russian artist Nick Fedaev
Born in 1965 in Russia, Nick Fedaev (Fedaeff) graduated from Polytechnic Institute and Evening Art School in Russia. After graduation from the institute, Nick Fedaev worked as an artist, musician and composer. Then he moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where he lives and works now. According to the artist, he finds the inspiration from various sources – his dreams, life and people, surrounding him. Also, paintings of the Old Masters of the Renaissance, Da Vinci, Dali, Bosch and Picasso. Meanwhile, he admires not only their brilliant paintings, but also their attitudes to life.
Creating his portraits of surreal women with fantasy hair style, Nick works with acrylics, oils and mix media.
Paintings by Nick Fedaev appeared in solo and group exhibitions in New Zealand, Australia, USA, Europe and Japan.
