Russian artist Yuri Pantsyrev
The gallery of Russian classic realist painter Yuri Pantsyrev includes traditional genre paintings of landscapes, still lifes, portraits. He was born in the town of Kameshkovo of Vladimir region. In 1973 he graduated from the Ivanovo Art College. In 1979 Pantsyrev graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fine Art. In 1976 he participated in the preparation of the exhibition of Arkady Plastov and became friendly with his family. Long-term close contact with the family of Plastov had a great influence on the attitudes and creativity of Yuri Pantsyrev. He is a permanent participant of more than 70 major (personal, local, regional, national and international) exhibitions.
Yuri Pantsyrev was repeatedly awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Culture and the Union of Artists of Russia. In 1986 he was awarded the medal “For Labor Valor”. In 1996 was awarded the diploma of the Academy of Arts. The artworks of Russian painter Yuri Pantsyrev are in museums of Ulyanovsk, the Pushkin Museum of Tatarstan, Obninsk City Museum, Art Museum in the city of Pleven (Bulgaria), in the vaults of Ministry of Culture, and the Union of Artists of Russia, in private collections in the USA, France, Germany, England, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Austria, Russia.
Yuri Pantsyrev is a Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (since 1980). He was a chairman of Ulyanovsk organization of Union of artists (1986-1989), secretary of the Union of Artists of Russia (1986-1993).
