Russian painter Igor Shishelov
Creative imagination of Russian painter Igor Shishelov was formed by his native Irkutsk, the beauty of Siberian nature, the Baikal and nearby villages, where he spent all his childhood. The artist still works in his small art studio in the village of Nizhny Kochergat. Craving for romance and searching for thrilling and delectable entirely realized in the works of Russian artist Igor Shishelov. Maintaining adherence to the traditions of Russian realistic school, interested in culture of Eastern Siberia, Igor Shishelov has created a stunning gallery of still lifes and landscapes, filled with charming softness and dignity.
Russian artist Igor Shishelov was born in the city of Vladivostok in the family of a naval officer. He graduated from art and music schools, faculty of architecture of Irkutsk University. While studying at the university, in 1981 he began his career as an Art teacher. Since 1989, Igor Shishelov engaged in painting and drawing became a a freelance artist. Igor Shishelov participated in several regional and national art exhibitions, as well as abroad – in Mongolia in 1988, in London in 1993, in China in 2013. His works are in private collections in Russia, Japan, China, Korea, England, USA and France.
