Born in Kaysville, Utah, American artist Patrick Kramer is from the family of German immigrants. His highly realistic paintings include a variety of subjects, from still lifes to landscapes and city scenes. According to Patrick Kramer, he attended art lessons as a high school student, and then entered Brigham Young University. There, he improved his natural talent in art. While studying, he focused mainly on realism technical skills. “In my work, I hope the viewer senses the tension between photography and the handmade. The instantaneous and the prolonged, the ubiquitous and the unique, the impartial and the personal.”
